The Metropolitan New York City region, which includes New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island) extends 50-100 miles from Times Square, which is in the middle of Manhattan. The Metropolitan New York Baptist Association extends 50 miles from Times Square.
The Metropolitan area consists of New York City, suburban Long Island, the lower Hudson Valley, northern New Jersey and southwestern Connecticut. With 22 million, this is the third most populated metro area in the United States.
